Duties include:

• Felling and processing timber, coppicing, hedge laying, fencing, path clearance, and general conservation work. 
• Operating chainsaws and forestry equipment safely, monitoring tree health, and supporting habitat management to promote biodiversity. 
• A practical knowledge of countryside management, woodland stewardship, and health and safety procedures is important.
